Using the service

THE 1 is provided as a study tool for personal, educational use. You agree not to misuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, access it through automated means at scale, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

Your content

You keep ownership of the notes and other content you create. Because your workspace is stored on your own device, you are responsible for keeping your own backups. We are not able to recover content lost when browser storage is cleared.

AI features and academic honesty

AI-generated answers, summaries and practice questions can be incomplete or wrong. Check anything important against your course materials. You are responsible for complying with your school, college or university's rules on the use of AI in assessed work.

AI features are subject to fair-use limits so the service stays available to all students. Limits may change without notice.

Availability

The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We may change, suspend or discontinue features at any time. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service, including lost work or missed deadlines.
